Extra Virgin Olive Oil directly from the producer
From three generations the Ruberto family cultivates olives transforming them into precious olive oil
Care, dedication, tradition and innovation have been the basis of the production of noble oil for several generations
Particular attention is paid to the cultural processes limiting and even resetting the usage of chemical products, and the selection of cultivars and drupes from their own lands, for the production of five different types of oils
Virtuous Cycle: after the extraction of the oil, the residual part of the olive drupe (pomace) is used to feed a biogas plant it's a biomethane plant (both of the Ruberto family) which respectively produce electricity and clean green methane, and at the end of the process the pomace itself (at this point called digestate) is returned to the soil for a completely natural and organic fertilization of the crops, completely replacing the use of chemical fertilizers
Very specific choices have also been made regarding the oil extraction method: it takes place rigorously cold and only by mechanical process so as to keep the prestigious organoleptic characteristics of the drupes unchanged
The crop residues of the prunings are not removed from the land: instead of proceeding with the usual and disrespectful practice of burning them, they are shredded in the field, albeit more expensive. In this way two advantages are obtained: respect for the environment, eliminating emissions into the atmosphere, and contribution to the soil of organic matter, a completely natural product
Thanks to environmentally friendly agronomic practices that respect food and the environment, the entire company is in conversion organic: the crops comply with the dictates of organic farming and a certifying company checks compliance
It is used for the irrigation of its crops green electricity produced with renewable energy sources in full respect of the environment
The meticulous care taken for the cultivation techniques and the careful selection of the varieties and the harvested drupes allow the differentiation of the oil produced into different types
Informing consumer customers is a moral duty
Mipa Agricola has always wanted customers to be informed on how extra virgin olive oils are made. Very often consumers are absolutely unaware of both the processes that determine the quality of an oil and the dynamics that lead to the sale of some oils with very low prices (often below production costs), as well as the frauds and exploitations that persist in this sector
It is possible to deepen 3 topics related to Conservation and shelf life of extra virgin olive oil, to stages of transformation and cold extraction and to Fraud, adulteration and exploitation
Satisfying the customer is one of Mipa Agricola's priorities
With its organization, Mipa Agricola is able to satisfy every need of its customers, both in terms of the type of packaging (practical cans or refined glass bottles, starting from 250 ml up to 25 l packs) and in home deliveries in every part of Europe
New olive oil campaign
Reservations are open for the olive oil of the new campaign. The reservation ensures the quantity and quality of oil desired, without running the risk of running out of it
Mipa Agricola thanks
A heartfelt thanks to all the long-standing customers who confirm their trust every year, and also to the new customers who, with a great desire for information and quality products, have understood that it is certainly not the saving of a few euro cents per day on the consumption of extra virgin olive oil which can make you lose the choice of a healthy and quality product compared to a commercial one
This has allowed Mipa Agricola an important growth not only in Italy but also in Europe.
And perhaps it is no coincidence that the most requested types of oils are those relating to the top of the range: this is a sign that consumers are looking for high quality at the right price for their health and that of their loved ones, which combined with the correct information of a manufacturer of oil (not trader or bottler ...) do the good of Italia Perbene
