It all began with Grandpa Michele<\/em>, who, shortly after getting married, had the courage and foresight to purchase the first plots of land, despite the ongoing World War II.
Grandma Amelia<\/em>\u2019s stories remain vivid to this day: during that time, they alternated between helping evacuees from the city due to the bombings and frequent raids by American soldiers, who would steal food for their troops. It was especially because of these raids, which threatened their family\u2019s survival, that the grandparents developed a growing sense of determination and courage, managing to confront these challenges head-on.
